Circadian Nest Nursery

FAQ’s

Circadian rhythms are your child’s internal 24-hour clock – the natural patterns that regulate sleep, energy, appetite, mood and development.

Light is the primary signal that sets this clock. When children get bright natural light during the day and avoid blue light before sleep, their bodies produce the right hormones at the right times. This means better sleep, more stable moods, and healthier development.

Most nurseries don’t consider this biology. We’ve designed our sleep spaces around it – with red-light nap zones that support deep rest – and prioritise daily outdoor time to maximise natural light exposure throughout the day.

But it doesn’t stop at nursery gates. We believe in empowering parents with practical knowledge about sleep, light exposure, and nervous system health – so you can support your child’s wellbeing at home too. Because when families and nursery work together with the same understanding, children thrive.
